 I have been meal planning and try new recipes lately.. not my favorite thing but one of my new recipes was Pioneer Womans Grilled Chicken with Lemon Basil Pasta and it was INCREDIBLE.  You should try it :)

 I made this planner out of an old Readers Digest book.

I found these at a yard sale for $2.50 for all of them.

My friend hosted an incredible Mad Hatter Bachelorette Party at my house last weekend and we made this Cafe Menu Board for the party out of old cabinet doors.

Our dear friends got married last weekend :)

And my sister came up to help me make a 100+ cake balls for their wedding.

Seriously i have the BEST family in the world!!

The last couple weeks have been crazy but don't worry i'll be back with our regular scheduled programming soon!

I have been MIA for the past few days because we had a huge storm rip though the southeast  last Wednesday. I have a friend in Birmingham who wrote about her experience here. The storm hit so fast that most people had no idea what was going on. We are so blessed that our family is safe. So many people cannot say the same. Please be in prayer for all the families who have lost loved ones and are trying to put their lives back together. 

Easter 2011

Hey guys! The hubs and I had a wonderful long weekend with friends and family. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday we had friends from college up and we hung out downtown and went climbing on Saturday, it was beautiful outside all weekend! Then Sunday we served in the nursery at church and headed down to see the family for the day. Here are some pics of the weekend!

Saving and Organizing, and it feels so good!

I come to you with very good news tonight!! So if you remember one of my new years resolutions was to pay off my student loans. Well with the help of my amazing husband we have paid off one of my Student Loans which means we only have one more loan to pay off. We had been paying half of our mortgage towards this loan every month so now we can put that money into savings.

It's such an amazing feeling.  

Anyway on to real life.. i started organizing my closet tonight, this might sound like a simple task, but once you see the pictures below you'll understand why it may take a while to get the  after pics.

I am ready to get rid of stuff i just don't know what to get rid of and what to keep.

I Heart Seltzer Bottles!

So when i got home from work a few weeks ago i found this beauty on my front doorstep. 

I. couldn't. believe. it!

I have been wanting one of these seltzer bottles FOREVER! I mentioned that here :)

And a sweet friend took note and sent me this beautiful blue one!

It goes perfectly with the blue in my bathroom.
